Gauge
The Festival’s Circus Street Market venue is hosting Gauge‘s exploration of weather through interactive soundscapes. The Biosphere meets Gauge is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with your local water environment to understand how it sustains life and the pressures it faces. The Brighton Chalk Block provides nearly all of the public water supply to the 370,000 inhabitants of the Brighton & Lewes Downs Biosphere, yet very few people are now aware of where the water from their taps comes from or goes to, nor about the state of this essential local resource and their connections to it. The Biosphere’s Minecraft model is already being used by schools and will be available to use over the weekend.

Watch the promotional film then come and play with the real thing.
